Meet Democrat Nate Davidson
Nate Davidson is a resident of Harrisburg, where he is raising his young family. Currently serving in his first term, Nate was the first member of the class of 2024 to have a bill signed by Governor Shapiro. In his first year in office, he secured $6 million in grant funding for local communities and non-profits, an additional $16 million in new funding for the 4 school districts in the 103rd District, and a $2 million dollar line item increase for the Harrisburg Fire Bureau.
Nate has advanced a wide variety of legislation in his first term, including:
Opening a 2-year window for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to pursue justice against their abuser(s)
Providing free lunches for all Pennsylvania studentsEstablishing a First-Time Homebuyer Tax Rebate
Protecting access to, and making healthcare more affordable in Pennsylvania
Reducing energy costs
Protecting free and fair elections
Born and raised in Dauphin County and a graduate of Messiah College, he learned the value of service to others from his parents who were active in their local church and other community organizations. Prior to his time in office, he worked in the House of Representatives as Floor Manager to the Democratic Caucus and Senior Advisor to the Appropriations Committee Chair. When he is not in the Capitol, Nate can be found attending one of Harrisburg's Riverfront Concerts, listening to neighbors at the Broad Street Market, or playing with his children at Adams-Ricci Park.
